Georgia Verdier, President of the Elmira-Corning NAACP, and Dr. Stephen Coleman, retired professor and the longest-running political commentator in the Twin Tiers, are proud to cosponsor The Twin Tiers Unity in the Community Rally, on Saturday, May 13th, from two until three at Centerway Square in Corning. Please use the attached flyer as you see fit. The event will celebrate what the wonderful people and organizations in the Twin Tiers have in common and all the contributions they make to make our region such a wonderful place to live and to work. This rally is free, open to the public, with no tickets required. Dr. Coleman will recognize the Rotary Clubs in Elmira and Corning for their service to the community. The presidents of the Elmira and Corning Rotary Clubs will be in attendance: Stuart Sammis and Ryken Ruuspakka, respectively. The community leaders speaking at the rally will include:
