[June 2020] The Rotary Club of Corning recently welcomed its newest member, Jacqueline (Jackie) Towers.
Rotarians Dick Pope and Stacy Ward cosponsored Jackie for membership. Jackie has been a resident of Corning since December 2017, having fallen in love with the beauty, friendliness and quaintness of the town after a recent visit to the area. Jackie has worked for global consulting firms for 25 years and is currently employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Advisory (Consulting) division. She has a global job managing alliances and is thankful to have had the opportunity to travel to many countries around the world.
Jackie’s hobbies include gardening, cooking, exercise and reading historical fiction; but she holds a special passion for health. As a certified Holistic Health Counselor, she helps people through one on one coaching programs, seminars, cooking classes and newsletters to achieve healthy eating and lifestyle changes to live their best life possible.
As a world traveler and international consultant, Jackie appreciates Rotary’s international scope, and she hopes to use her trips outside the U.S. to bring different groups together. She also looks forward to getting involved in school systems and nursing homes locally, particularly to help children and seniors to have better access to nutritious meals.
