Recognition - President Ernie continued [see video] ... Richard Pope has probably has recruited more new members than anyone in the club's history, and has brought in the most program speakers. He also brought the Scripps Spelling Bee to us [which we now support] and that has produced two national champions since the Bee has been under our auspices. Announcements [mainly President Ernie]: - October 21, 2024 meeting with the Board of Directors is with the Board Chairs; please ensure you have someone present to represent your committee

- The Trivia Game!! The game taught us even more about Polio -- Polio Plus --- and wrong answers became cash donations.
Program: Special Guest: District Governor Dave DeMers and Ann DeMers Coda - Ernie read a very nice thank you note from the 5th Graders. Our $1700 donation had restored their ability to have field trips this year. No 50:50 this week. Meeting adjourned |
