Monday evening, Jan 30, the Board of Directors unanimously approved the proposed contract between the club and the Double Tree [formerly Radisson] for our monthly lunches.
We will meet on the first Thursday of the month at the Double Tree with the exception of February. Because we are having the Groundhog Day Pancake Supper this Thursday, we will meet at the Double Tree on Feb. 9th.
Dale and Marisa, in the best tradition of Rotary, worked out a contract that is fair to all concerned. The full contract details have been emailed to you already.
Here is a subset of the operational details:
- Lunch ordering will remain online - allowing signup for lunch or cancelling your reservation
- Access to the online reservation (required) will be closed at noon on the Monday before the meeting. If you make a reservation and need to cancel it you can do it up to noon on Monday.
- If you do not show up for the meeting, you are still be responsible for payment and the meal payment cannot be applied at a later meeting.
- Rotary will collect the lunch price $23 cash or $24 for credit/debit card payment inclusive (including tax and gratuity)
- Lunch to start at 12:00PM
- Buffet lunch with chefâs choice of soup, salad, hot or cold entrĂŠe
- Beverage selection inside room on side table
- Round tables set with coffee and water
