The Corning Rotary Club honors member Michele Donegan as the Club’s newest Paul Harris Fellow.

Donegan, a Rotarian since 1991, is the General Manager of the Radisson Hotel Corning. Born and raised in Corning, Donegan graduated from Corning East High School before going on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Resort Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Syracuse University.

As a member of the Corning Rotary Club, Donegan has served as President, on the International Committee, and on the Board of Directors of Camp STAR. In the local community, she has served on the Gaffer District’s Board of Directors and as the Chairperson of the Marketing & Communication Work Plan Group. She has also served on the Watson Homestead Board of Directors, the United Way’s Campaign Cabinet, and received the United Way’s 2010 Volunteer of the Year award. Donegan has also served as Secretary for the Hotel Sales & Marketing Association.

Donegan’s local volunteer activities have included work with the Food Bank of the Southern Tier and with the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee. Donegan is also a founding member of the Fund for Women.

The Corning Rotary Club presents the Paul Harris award to outstanding Club and community members in recognition of activities that exemplify Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self”.
