I have been an Officer together with my wife for almost 15 years. We have five children and one grandson.
Captain Borrero is a commissioned and trained to supervise operations of The Salvation Army. His role in that organization is to proclaim the gospel and serve as administrator, pastor, teacher, social worker, counselor, youth leader, and musician.
He has a passion for youth ministry and have created programs like the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of New London County, the first in our Eastern territory in 75 years, and the Bloom Project Initiative to help victims of human trafficking. Now, in Corning, he is the Commanding Officer of the Corning Corps, which serves the Steuben County, including the Hornell service unit.
Captain Borrero's background includes an associate degree in Radiation Therapy and in Religious Studies. In June 2021, he will obtain his bachelor in Non- profit Management.
For fun, he enjoys hiking, fishing, and building fish aquariums. Please welcome the Borreros to our community!
