Corning Rotary President Jennifer Batzing welcomed Colleen Coro into our club at our January 8th 2026 Club Meeting. Sponsored by Rotarian Ted Goldwyn, Colleen has already been a contributor to Rotary's work in the community and we're happy to have her join Rotary.

Originally from Horseheads, Colleen graduated from Le Moyne College before earning a Master’s Degree in Education: Integrated Studies from Cambridge College. After living in several places, including Rochester and Boston, Massachusetts, she returned to the Southern Tier in 2002.

In 2022, Colleen became President of the Corning Area Chamber of Commerce.

“Community involvement has always been important to me — I’ve volunteered with PTA, the Wineglass Marathon, and other local organizations. I currently serve on the Boards of Ready, Set, Grow Child Care Center and Explore Steuben, volunteer with the Fund for Women’s Connect Planning Committee, and recently helped organize CareFirst NY’s Brunch in Bloom event. I am hoping to continue community involvement and volunteerism by joining Rotary. These things are important to me in my personal and professional life. I believe in Rotary’s mission and in the programs it supports. I hope to be part of all of it.”

We welcome Colleen to Corning Rotary ⚙️.
