Corning Rotarians worked at the Southern Tier Food Bank on Monday July 27th, repacking food. We had a great turn out and did a lot of repacking !!!

Thank you to Ray, Dale, Yumo, Mayu, Jen, & Wendy !

Corning Rotary Club’s local initiatives address key areas of need and reflect our commitment to making a difference locally and globally:

  • Environmental Sustainability: Tree-planting drives, community and school gardens, and cleanup events.
  • Food Security: Supporting food banks and pantries with donations and hands-on volunteer work in our gardens.
  • Youth Leadership & Education: Mentoring future leaders through Interact, Youth Exchange, Spelling Bees, Rotary Youth Leadership Academy, Oratory competitions, and Literacy programs in the schools.
  • Health & Safety: Promoting wellness through initiatives like PolioPlus, Local Flood Relief and a free smoke detector program.

Thank you to all that attended. Once again, thank you to Yumiko Akiba for arranging for our participation in these Community Service Events. We post our Community Service events at corningnyrotary.org; community members are welcome to attend with us at the events.
