As of the November 4th meeting, we will be meeting only by Zoom.  There will be no in-person meeting component for the immediate future as of that date.

Following President Jeff's Four Way Test, Ray Defendorf introduced his guest Kath Buck. We welcomed Morgan Kemp for the 4th time and noted that she will soon be presented to the Board for membership.
 
Announcements:
  • The Radisson will be undergoing major renovations beginning in November and will no longer be able to host our meetings. For the near future we will be meeting via Zoom only until we find a venue. The Meeting ID is on ClubRunner and in the weekly email before next week’s meeting.
     
  • There will be a grant management seminar on Saturday. Stu, Dale, and Rick are all going to attend.
     
  • Wendy noted that she misspoke last week.  We are not quite to our Foundation Giving goal to qualify for the District Simplified Grant.  Wendy noted we are $465 short of what we definitely need.  Next year we will have to give $35/member to qualify.
 
 
 
Program:

  • Announcements by the DG:
    • Tomorrow, October 29th there will be a multidistrict polio plus dinner in Syracuse.  The keynote speaker will be RI President Elect Jennifer Jones.
    • Nov 7th the district Foundation Brunch will be held in Geneva from 11:00 – 2:00 
    • The 7120 District Conference will be held in Oswego in early May
    • The Eastern Cities dinner will hopefully take place in March – 
       
  • Bill Boland informed the DG of our Cherry Blossom Trail and the fact that Grove #2 was recently dedicated to our sister city of Kapagala, Japan, and Grove # 1 will be dedicated to the Corning Rotary Club next spring.
