The club met for lunch at noon at the Y at Watson Woods, formerly known as Watson Homestead. President Stu called the meeting to order at 12:02 pm with the ringing of the Rotary bell. This was followed by the singing of My Country ‘Tis of Thee and recitation of the pledge of allegiance. Kelly Copp (nice to have her in attendance) gave the invocation and with help from fellow Rotarians, Stu and the Rotarians present recited the Four-Way Test.
Club Service: Kelly Copp delivered the invocation. Gil Sweet served as photographer and Ernie Danforth was the Cogs editor.

Announcements:
- Announcements: Buddy Cutler (another welcome sight) and Stu provided an update on the Groundhog Day pancake supper to take place on Thursday, February 2nd at the American Legion Hall in South Corning.
- Rotarians can sign up for working the supper through the club site on ClubRunner. Buddy has tickets available. They can also be purchased online through Clubrunner. Since the drive thru was so successful with the Ukrainian dinner, we are also going to offer drive thru service for the pancake supper.
- Buddy did note that the Rotary band will be playing for the event so mark your calendars.
- Andy showed the pancake supper link on the web page and the sponsorships. Please sign up.
- Theresa Rossettie noted that if she can do it, and she has, anyone can.
- If you have any problems with the website, contact Andy.
- Ray Defendorf then talked about planning for the International Dinner to be held Saturday May 20th at the Y at Watson Woods. The International Committee had met the previous evening and organized themselves in 5 or 6 committees to run the event. Subcommittees will meet every two weeks until the Dinner. If you are interested in helping, contact Ray.
- Dale Wexell discussed the online auction to held in May. Every Rotarian is expected to make a donation to the auction. These donations should have a value of $50 to $100. Rotarians could donate money which will be then turned into purchases. The net proceeds from this auction will be between $3000 and $9000 to be used to fund grant projects in the community.
- Tom O’Brien noted that passing of former Rotarian Peter Maier. Tom read a letter from his wife Cindy. Stu has provided information via email for anyone who wants to make donations in Peter’s name.
Program – Brian Dana the new director at the Y at Watson Woods made a presentation on the changes and updates that have been made, are being made, and are planning to be made to the facilities and programs at the facility.
