The club met for lunch at noon at First Presbyterian Church. President Stu called the meeting to order at 12:10 pm with the ringing of the Rotary bell. This was followed by the singing of My Country ‘Tis of Thee and recitation of the pledge of allegiance. Ernie Danforth gave the invocation and we recited the Four-Way Test. At the last Board Meeting, a committee was formed to look at meeting options: John Brown [chair], Dale, Bob. If you're interested in serving on this committee, contact John or Stu.- Stu announced that Wendy Winnett will serve as our counselor for the female exchange student from Ukraine.
- Board Meeting Retreat on 8-20-22 at the Radisson. We are still in need Committee Chairs - in particular, Community Service and Club Service. If you're interested, please talk to Stu or any Board member.
- Bill Boland:
noted that we have a project in the works. A Holiday evening with Rotary is scheduled for Dec 10th at 171 Cedar Arts Center. Community Engagement will meet tomorrow to work through more details. The program will include a magician and a presentation of The Holiday Dating Game, written by our own Mayor Boland. We will begin working on this in August. - Jan: two opportunities are available on our ClubRunner site for sign up:
- August 7th: usher at the Endless Mountain outdoor concert at the ice rink: need 8 people.
- August 15th: Camp Star Night: Will need 10-15 people to hand out cookies and there will be a DJ to get kids involved. Please sign up for that as well through ClubRunner.
