Today's meeting was the Corning NY Rotary Club's Annual Meeting [held this year in ZOOM]. We followed our normal agenda -- but the PROGRAM is the Business Meeting for the Annual Meeting requirements.
 
Club NEWS You Need to Know
  • CHANGEOVER PICNIC
    • Saturday, June 19th 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM 
    • Picnic catered by Bill Spaulding and Corning Catering
    • Menu to include sausage and peppers, pulled pork and chicken, various summer salads, cookies and brownies
    • Held at McKinney Park Picnic Pavilion
    • Families Invited!
    • Registrations were due by Tuesday, June 15th.  If you forgot to register, please contact Jan Harvey (jharvey@clarityconnect.com)
    • $15/adult, $8/children 12 and under
Community Service Opportunities:
  • [new/signup] June 23rd, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.: here's a chance to help the Science and Discovery Center assemble the STEM kits from the components that our club donated to them. Here's the signup. Hope to see you there!!

Today's Program:

     President Paula Smith summarized the efforts of the club with a list of all the projects, donations and accomplishments achieved or performed throughout the Rotary year.  It was a very impressive list!

     We finally reached a quorum of our club members at 12:38 PM!  Paula turned the meeting over to President-elect Jeff Ugoretz who presented the officers and Board of Directors for the 2021-2022 year.

   50/50: Dale Wexell was the winner of the $5 prize for the day; but he missed the big prize. He kindly donated to his winnings to the club.  Thank you, Dale!
