He is now a member of the Rotary Club of Lake Norman in Denver, NC, making him a Visiting Rotarian. Tim Ono accompanied Yumiko Akiba. Announcements: - The Wineglass Marathon is coming up October 2nd. Our club will be doing our standard setting up of the course through town at O-Dark-30. Volunteers will be needed. Details and sign-up sheet to come.
- The meeting location committee is zeroing on a spot for the club to meet where lunch will be served. Not there yet but there has been progress.
- Bill Boland noted that Holiday Evening with Rotary is scheduled for Dec 10th at 171 Cedar Arts Center. A matinee is being added for Sunday, December 11th.
- Also from Bill Boland: We have received resolutions from Phil Palmesano commemorating our club's 100th Anniversary. If you would like a copy of the resolution, please contact Bill. This is the last chance to get a copy.
- We still need a couple committee chairs, particularly Community Service. Looking at the numbers, 60% of the members of our club are serving on committees!
GOOD NEWS BUCKS ARE BACK! - Stu and Barb Sammis are celebrating their anniversary this coming Tuesday.
- Russ Miller was happy to be back in the Rotary saddle and promises to come to meetings more often.
- King William's son is now engaged.
- Les Rosenbloom has now added the title of Octogenarian to his resume. Congratulations, Les!
- Andy Rochester thanked club members for their support at Krossin' Keuka fundraiser [hospice].
 Today's Program: Katrina Massina from Corning Natural Gas spoke on the ramifications of the NYS Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act, especially Chapter 12 of the law.
