As Buddy Cutler was giving an update on the pancake supper, he was interrupted by Les Rosenbloom.
Les informed him that his report would have to wait while he was presented with a Paul Harris award. Nora Smith then summarized Buddy’s service to the club and the community. There is no question that Buddy Cutler is a most deserving winner of this award.
After receiving his award, Buddy informed the club that the proceeds from the pancake supper continue to trickle in and the result will be between $2500 and $3000 for the Scholarship Fund. He also thanked all of those who helped make the supper a success.
President Dale then called on a special guest, Trevor Thomas, son of Marisa who for his birthday raised $350.00 for children’s literacy and is donating that money to the club’s literacy account. Thank you, Trevor, for your generosity.

Wendy Winnett
- noted that the club is still in need of a project for the District Simplified Grant proposal. If you have a project, let Wendy know. The selection will be made in March because all application materials need to be in to the district for April 1.
- At the same time Wendy noted that the club is still short of our club goal for to the RI Foundation of $35/member to qualify for a DSG.
Deacon Ray asked for help with international dinner. He also introduced our Corning International Dinner Sponsor Greg Karpowich. Ray stated that he needs help after our meeting putting stamps on and stuffing envelopes.
