As we said Farewell to outgoing President Dale Wexell and Hello to incoming President Ernie Danforth, Rotarians and some family members enjoyed a sumptuous picnic feast catered by Johnny Spaulding and her crew. We had hot dogs with meat sauce, sausage and peppers, chicken speidies, BBQ pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, as well as salad, veggies and relish tray, topped off with delicious chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies. Outgoing Prez Dale gave an entertaining adieu crowing about all the hard work and accomplishments of his presidential year. Thanks for all your hard work, patience and guidance, Dale. You were an admirable leader and challenged us to be more impactful. Incoming Prez Ernie delivered an inspiring speech listing some of the priorities and challenges he and the club will face in this new Rotary year. Welcome, Ernie. We promise to be supportive and work for a successful year under your leadership. |
