Corning Rotary started February with memories of recently passed member Dick Pope. Thank you, John Wahlig for speaking about all of Dick's contributions. Among many other things, he was responsible for sponsoring over 55 members for our club.
Mid-winter brings the groundhog and his shadow. It also brings Corning’s Breakfast for Dinner Groundhog Day Fundraiser in honor of The Rodent. Held February 2nd, club members working with the staff at the Corning-Painted Post High School cafeteria, served pancakes, French toast sticks, sausage and hash browns to several hundred people.
District 7120's Rotex Rotaract Club is excited to announce its second annual district-wide Polar Bear Plunge Fundraiser!
Hosted by the Rotary Youth Exchange Committee and the Rotex Rotaract Club, the event will take place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at noon at The Beachcomber on Conesus Lake (5909 West Lake Rd, Conesus, NY 14435). This event will help provide support to a number of projects, including Camp Star!!
We meet the first and third Thursdays of the month at the Corning Radisson. There are exceptions in July and November. More information on our home page, center column. Arrive 11:30-11:45, buffet, then meeting, which ends at 1pm.
