For me, it’s an extension of my research and stories about the people of Corning. For Linda, she’s the local history librarian, hosts our group at the library, and is a guitar player/Duane fan. For Frank, he interviewed and knew Duane personally and has advocated for community support of him for many years. And Dick, retired owner of Marich Music, is a huge fan and enthusiastic educator of Duane’s importance to music history. Duane was very proud to be born in Corning and our group’s goal is to build awareness that he was Born in Corning and that we should be proud too. And have fun doing it.
