Ma ny members of our clubs have done this in the past but there are many who have not. I am looking to you for help getting volunteers signed up to ass ist with this need.   When: Friday\, September 13\, Saturday\, September 14 and Sunday\, September 15.    What we will do: volunteers will work a t the information booths for a 4 hour shift\, either from 8am-noon or noon to 4pm. The track provides us with the materials we need to give educated guesses for the questions we will be asked by the NASCAR fans. It is an e asy job and gives us time to enjoy each others company\, help excited fans get where they are going and help answer any questions they may have. You do not have to know anything about road racing\, just general knowledge i s often all you need.   How this helps: we are allowed 2 Rotarians (frien ds and family included) to work a shift we will be given a donation of $10 per hour for each shift covered. all total\, we should be able to earn ov er a $2500 donation for 3 days of service. also\, each volunteer is given a general admission ticket to give them entry to the track on other days w hen they are not volunteering. once a Rotarian is signed up\, I will make arrangements to get the general admission ticket to them. Great opportunit y for all those "wanna be" race fans\, lol.  PLEASE\, PLEASE\, PLEASE... .... the race is in 3.5 weeks and I have 60 positions to fill.
